At the AGM on 31 October after the formal business, we took the opportunity to thank Gillian Thick, our CARE Coordinator, for the more than 45 years of devoted service she has given to the people of Merton working in various roles with Christian CARE. At the meeting she also chaired a presentation about the place of Christian CARE in the Community with contributions from the Revd Paul Timmis, Minister of Martin Way Methodist Church, Karen Peter, a Social Prescriber, Vanessa Robinson, Welfare Manager at Wimbledon Guild and Siobhain McDonagh, MP for Mitcham and Morden.
