The Furniture Project collects good quality second-hand furniture for free distribution to needy families. Soft furnishings must comply with fire safety standards. We do not usually take glass items. We accept white goods if they meet the PAT safety test which we carry out. We accept gas cookers with FSD. We are sometimes asked for bedding and kitchen utensils. We are often asked to provide food for families who, for example, have no benefits or grants, or where there is long-term illness. We appreciate the donations we receive from churches and from Wimbledon and Sutton High Schools.

We accept cots, buggies, high chairs, Moses baskets, baby baths and baby clothes. We also collect children's clothes up to age 11. Click here for a list of our current requirements. Please contact the Office if you can help.
We receive some grants for our work, but most of our income is from donations given by individuals and churches. Cheques made payable to Christian Care Association may be sent to the Treasurer at the Office.
