Baby, Children’s and Household Project

Baby and Children’s Clothing

We currently welcome donations of children’s winter clothes, new or in good condition, for ages 2 – 12 years, especially warm jumpers, trousers, anoraks, waterproof jackets, hats, scarves and gloves. There is a specific and urgent need of warm everyday dresses, skirts and jumpers for girls aged 6-12.

Folding pushchairs and wood-framed cots

Other useful items are good quality folding pushchairs and wood-framed cots (70cm x 140cm).

A photograph and measurements of the pushchairs or cots you wish to donate would be appreciated. Please send details to our office email address:

Bed Linen and Towels

In addition to receiving new bed linen items, we continue to be grateful for donations throughout the year, of washable bedding in good condition, for both double and single beds e.g. duvet covers, pillow cases, and flat sheets. We can take towels which are washed and are in good condition.  Please note that bath sheets are too large and would not be suitable.

Due to hygiene and safety reasons we are unable to accept used duvets or pillows.

Furniture Project

Furniture Items

We welcome donations of really good quality, recycled furniture. Please send photographs and measurements of the items being offered to our office email address

Please note that we are not able to take second hand electrical items, mattresses and divan bases.

Our particular needs are for:

Kitchen Items

The kitchen project is generally well stocked, but we would welcome donations of spatulas, wooden spoons, tin openers, cheese graters, sieves / colanders and potato peelers.

Family Support

Food Items

From December, when harvest supplies have been used up, we will be in urgent need of more food donations. We welcome offers from churches, schools and other groups to make special appeals for food. We are also grateful for individual donations. For the list of items we require for our Family Support deliveries please click on List of Family Support food items

Gift Cards

We may give gift cards for the purchase of fresh food to some of the families referred to us whom we regularly support. We would be grateful for £25 gift cards for Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda.
